Steel

Spring steel is a type of steel that has a high degree of elasticity when quenched and tempered, and is used to make springs and other elastic components. Spring steel relies on its ability to elastically deform, i.e., the ability to tolerate a particular elastic deformation within the prescribed range such that the load does not result in permanent distortion when the load is withdrawn. Car fittings, auto manufacturing, hardware tools, chain production, and other machinery manufacturing industries all employ spring steel flat bars.
